The Czech joint-stock company RUDOLF JELINEK a.s., headquartered in Visovice, is the largest producer of fruit distillates in Europe. The tradition of producing fruit distillates in Visovice dates back to 1585. The company itself was founded in 1894 and today is best known for its plum brandy, which is a great success not only in the Czech Republic but also worldwide. Apart from various types of plum distillate, the company also produces other high quality fruit distillates – pear, apricot, cherry, apple, etc.
RUDOLF JELÍNEK Slovakia, headquartered in Skalica, was founded in 1999 as the exclusive importer of the RUDOLF JELÍNEK brand.
RUDOLF JELÍNEK – S.A. in Chile, headquartered in the city of Chilán, specializes in the purchase of fruit, the production of fruit distillates and their sale. Chile is one of the largest producers of pears outside Europe. The quality of pears in Chile, known for their high sugar content, makes them an ideal raw material for the production of pear distillate. 100% of production is directed to the European Union market, mainly Germany, Italy and the Czech Republic.
RUDOLF JELÍNEK USA – The history of Rudolf Jelinek’s exports to the USA dates back to 1934, when Rudolf Jelinek himself made the first sale of a plum beehive in America. This is currently one of the most important markets for the company, which is continuously expanding its presence on the continent.
