VINPROM – TROYAN AD is a national leader in the production of natural fruit distillates and brandies. Troyanska slivova is the strongest Bulgarian brand. Keeping the tradition, the company maintained the dominant position of the plum distillate, which is more than 90% of the total production.
Plum Gardens
The cultivation of plum orchards in the Troyan region began in the 19th century, when the hills were planted with plum trees. We have been continuing the local tradition of plum tree planting since 2018 when we planted our own orchards in the village of Debnevo with an area of 380ha. Since the beginning of 2022, we have taken care of 33dka of plum orchards of Troyan Monastery. We continue the tradition of growing plums in the Troyan region and the successful production of the famous Troyan plum brandy.

In 2018 we planted a plum tree garden in the area of the village of. It took almost two years to clear the plum orchard that was abandoned more than 25 years ago. In practice, the area was an impenetrable forest – an unmaintained old plum orchard. The planting of the new plum orchard began in August 2018 on a plot of nearly 380 acres in the area of the village of. Debnevo. Four plum varieties were planted: Stanley, Yoyo, Chachanska lepotitsa and Top and End.

Gardens Oreshak
The plum garden next to Troyan Monastery was planted in 2015. VINPROM – TROYAN took care of this garden from the beginning of 2022. The total area of the garden is 33 acres. The predominant variety is Stanley, complemented by the varieties Chachanska Lepotitsa, Chachanska Early, Chachanska Naibola. In addition to plum trees, there are also apple, pear and quince trees planted in the garden.
